Is it wise for me to move to New York for college

Is it wise for me to move to New York for college?
Hello, I'm currently a senior in high school in the illinois region, and I was wondering if it wise for me to consider moving to New York to further my education. I have two siblings that attend college in state. I've never been one to leave home too have if I don't have to, and I absolutely do NOT like to fly in airplanes. However, vie always seen images of New York that just make it seem so lively and wonderful. I could really use some input here. Thanks everyone!

I love New York. From what I've heard though, it's dang expensive to actually live on thie island. You might cobcider moving to New Jersey, which is only across the river, instead and commuting to the island for school.

I'm going to New York for college and I've visited many times. I think it's a great idea to go to school there. I live in Illinois as well and I just needed a change. New York is so lively and is perfect for experience and finally be independent. If you are looking for a change, then I'd say go!

So i just recently got my ged,who do i talk to about my college plans in new york?
I dont even know what i want to go to school for. The things that interest me now would be in the medical fields or in the retail business and restaurant management. what are some colleges in new york i can go to maybe a 2-4 year. that would help me accomplish those goals.

go to your public library for info on colleges, scholarships, financial aid, how to apply. You should go for your Bachelor degree, which will take four years, for better job opportunities and options.

Which places hire college students in new york?
I am looking for a job, more specifically in new york and during the night shift. I would like to work at a restaurant or doing telemarketing. Where in new york do they hire college students frequently?
