The best New York engineering colleges (not universities with an engineering school) include Cooper Union, Union College, Webb Institute, and Manhattan College (Riverdale).

The Albert Nerken School of Engineering is one of the schools of Cooper Union. It is THE best in the New York area. Notifications have been made for Fall 2011 admissions already. The tuition states that it is 35,000 per year but if you get in, every student gets a FULL SCHOLARSHIP so it is FREE. It is very competitive to get in but if you are looking for a great education, have worked really hard and think you might have a chance, you should apply. Good luck!
