I think I am going to get a 2 on my Spanish AP Test. However, I did receive a flat A as a final grade in the actual class. This is my only AP so far but my school only offers about 6. I am taking two more next year as well. I am so nervous that I won't be able to get into these places because of this test score. If I do fail, should I even send in the score?

Answer 1 :
No, AP scores have no bearing on your admittance to most schools.
Answer 2 :
No, AP exams scores do not at all influence your college admittance, unless you are applying to an Ivy. So failing an exam should not explicitly rule out getting in to either of those schools. Note that many schools, while preferring that you take the AP class, because it shows that you are willing to challenge yourself, a lot of schools, especially private schools, which tend to charge a premium for tuition, would rather you take the class, do well in it, and fail the exam, to force you to still take the class and thus pay them money. Another thing you should realize is that many applicants looking at those schools have taken many more than (6) AP exams. That being said, make sure to pass any future exams (if possible) and to ensure your GPA is as high as possible, given the lack of AP's at your school.
