Should I consider CCNY (city college of new york) as a college choice?
I was originally setting my heart on NYU, but now I know it to be way too expensive for me. But I don't want to move to new york city for college if I'm not going to be in a good area. What kind of things to do are there around CCNY? Is it a good school that will help me get a job?

City College is not in what most people would call a "good area" of New York. There is not much to do in that part of Manhattan, but the subway will take you anywhere in Manhattan in a relatively short time. City College is usually considered to be among the better campuses of City University of New York Hunter College of the City University of New York is in a "good area", but it is extremely expensive to live in that area. It is often considered the best general campus of CUNY. Going to a particular college does not help a person get a job in most cases. Most employers care very little about where the degree was earned so long as the college is a reputable non-profit public or private college.
