Does American Sign Language count as a foreign language at Nassau Community College in New York?
Can it also be transferred to a SUNY school after this year attending Nassau Community College?

Answer 1 :
A foreign language is a language that is not used in your country. So they would have to accept second languages, which they may as some schools do not make the distinction. Since they di teach America Sign Language you should contact the Registrar's office, but it should be listed on the graduation or major requirements sheet.

Answer 1 :
Look at community colleges. I doubt any university is going to take you this late in the game; they probably have waiting lists. I'm assuming that you're talking about fall semester. You'd better hurry because a lot of places have already started classes for the fall.
Answer 2 :
Some schools in NYC don't start term until end September/beginning October, so that may work for you. You won't be able to apply and enroll in a university, if you're already attending and plan to go back to your old one. But you can take classes. Usually colleges will limit you to 9 credits, though, not 12, but that varies by school. Even the elite schools in NYC offer classes through their continuing education programs that you can get into even at this late date. I don't know your major or what subjects you want to study, but you can check the following schools to start with: Columbia New York University The New School CUNY Baruch New York Institute of Technology Fordham University (Lincoln Center) Work fast, though - some schools do start next week.
