Answer 1 :
If you are asking regarding NYC, Hunter, Brooklyn, Queens and City all have well-known education departments. Hunter has an elementary school associated with it. NYU and Columbia are excellent although costly. NY certification still requires a 4 year degree. Some child care companies hire people without degrees.

Suggestions for a technical college/university in New York

Suggestions for a technical college/university in New York?
I don't want to wait until the last minute to choose my college when senior year comes around so I want to know if there's any good technical colleges in New York state? I don't want any suggestions out of state as my parents are forcing me to stay with in the state (ugh). I pretty much plan to major in Information Technology or Graphic Design, or anything computer/technical related.

What College in New York Would You Recomend For Creative Writing

What College in New York Would You Recomend For Creative Writing?
I really want to go to college in New York. I think I would like to become a literary editor and would possibly like to study creative writing or literature. What schools would be the best for me? I'm only 14 and i still have a lot of time, but I'm just thinking. I think I might like Ivy league or anything. Just an awesome school to picture myself at when I'm older :) I will think more realisticly in a few years. Thank you! im aloud to have dreams :P ***allowed

Um...well, the only Christian colleges in New York are Davis College, Houghton College, Nyack College, and Roberts Wesleyan College. None of those are good schools. The best private colleges in New York are Vassar (about 2 hours from NYC), Hamilton (about 4 hours from NYC), Colgate (about 4 hours from NYC), Barnard (all-womens; in Manhattan), Sarah Lawrence (about 40 minutes from NYC), Columbia (in Manhattan), and NYU (in Manhattan)
