Answer 1 :
It depends, somewhat, on where you are coming from. The number 2 and 5 trains go there. If you are not on those lines, you'll have to change trains. Congratulations on getting into Midwood. It's supposed to be a good school!
Answer 2 :
The most direct way for you to get to school will be to take the B6, which travels directly between the Bay Parkway area and Midwood High School. The limited starts skipping some stops east of Coney Island Avenue, but it would probably be faster to just take the first bus that comes, as the limited only bypasses a few stops. I hope this information was very helpful.

Is the city college of new york a junior college? where anybody can be accepted

Is the city college of new york a junior college? where anybody can be accepted?
Is the City College of New York a junior or "community college"?

Answer 1 :
City Colleges are Community Colleges. Typically institutions with "University" in the title that are decently established are not community colleges. If you are unsure, look at the tuition rates. Community Colleges are very very cheap compared to universities.

What is the name of that art college in New York?
I heard from my friend's brother that there was this art college somewhere in New York (the state) where you get to do nothing but art-related classes. Does anyone know if there is such a college, and what's its name?

Advertising internships after college in New York City

Advertising internships after college in New York City?
Does anyone know of any advertising agencies that take interns that have already graduated from school? I really want to get into advertising and I know that its the best, and almost the only way into the industry. I just moved to New York City and am enthusiastic about this. I've already gone out and asked several companies but I want to see if anybody knows of any places that definitely have internship programs for college grads.

Answer 1 :
I see ads every day seeking marketing or advertising "interns" on Craigslist ( http://newyork.craigslist.org/mar/ ). Be aware that many (perhaps most) of these opportunities are just looking for free or low-wage employees, and may not provide useful work experience or references. Sometimes, the "agency" turns out to be one guy working from home.
Answer 2 :
contact the big agencies, most if not all of them have some kind of internship programs. but be specific as to whether you want an internship in creative or account management (the writers and art directors or the business folks.) also note that these days there are a wide range of agencies, from the old school traditional to interactive shops, both produce advertising work, just different kinds. you can find a list of the biggest agencies online - adweek or ad age publishes these and must certainly make them available online. remember, the bigger agencies have the resources for this, but no matter where you go you'r not likely to make much money, if any at all. these are highly, highly competitive programs so just being accepted is a tremendous victory

Answer 1 :
cornell the university of albany hunter all in n.y.
Answer 2 :
Stony Brook University. Stony Brook is also home to Stony Brook Medical Center, the biggest hospital in Suffolk County, and one of the biggest hospital in the NYC region. Best part about Stony Brook is the excellent science and medical programs plus it's a New York State school. If you have the money, you should try Columbia or NYU in NYC, but Stony Brook is almost on the same level as those two private universities.
Answer 3 :
Don't forget the University of Rochester

Is Bard High School Early College (New York) a good school? Is the neighborhood good

Is Bard High School Early College (New York) a good school? Is the neighborhood good?
The school looks really good academically, but I don't know about the neighborhood. It's located in the lower east side of Manhattan New York. I've looked up reviews about the school and it was described as "high pressured and accelerated." I've found many stories of students transferring out because they couldn't make it. Is this true? Is this school really that hard?

Answer 1 :
Currently I am a sophmore at Bard, and truthfully it is very hard, but if you put in the time and dedication you will recieve something great in return. I personally have never thought about transferring, and I only know two students that transferred out from my grade. The teachers are incredible! Most of them have PHDs and are extremely nice and helpful. The atmosphere is great, thus making the classes amzaing! I actually like waking up and knowing that I have school. The neighborhood is not horrible, walk to and from school with friends and you'll be fine. Bard is a great school, and if you get in, I trust you that you'll be happy!
